I found a site that starting July 30th, will have these wonderful reusable bags that say: OUR OCEANS ARE TURNING INTO PLASTIC

Let’s all get one and save our playground! They are inexpensive too!

As much as I agree with the idea, those bags are worthless. They melt in a few weeks, and I hate cleaning up the fuzz they create.

There are alot of beer/soda bottles in the water I dive, I see them alot and I dont pick them up because it’s a hassle to lug a mesh bag full of heavy, loud bottles across a lake/river bottom.
If we all grabbed a few every dive it would make more of a difference than a typhoon of fuzzy bags.

I am confused...WHAT bags are worthless? The PLASTIC ONES?

The bags on the site are for sale to help ELIMINATE all the plastic ones that help destroy our oceans...It is a GOOD thing.

It is also a GOOD THING to AT ALL times, GRAB ANY trash on ALL dives! I always do!

I saw some good reusable shopping bags at Whole Foods for around five dollars.
