Heading to Ft. Lauderdale the week of July 4th. I plan to get in a few dives while there, but I do not have a dive buddy and I don`t want to end up with whoever is left on the boat. Also, any "gotta see" dive sites?

If you are coming to Ft. Lauderdale, make the hour and half drive to Key Largo and dive the Spiegle Grove. Ocean Diver`s in Key Largo goes every day. The reefs in Key Largo are very nice as it is a marine park. As far as Ft. Lauderdale, there are several intentionallyy sunk wrecks. The reef is so so because there is a lot of boating traffic.

While in ft. laud. check out the sea emporer and a dive I think they call the ZOO. I will be down 4-8 thru 4-13 in pompano and will try and remember to let you know how it was or if I have any other dives to recommend. Do you know of a good charter or boat down there cause as of now I dont know who I`ll be going out with. Also for dinner try flannigans Great local place

I don`t. I did chat with Jillian, a DM from the area with a dive center (aqua sports?) but I don`t see them on the site anymore? I`m going to have to wing it, unless you find a good boat. Thanks!
