Deep Blue is a small hole in the wall but is handy for that dive and he runs classes on the beach in Spanish BTW if you know anyone who wants to learn but English isn’t their best.
A local got me using a full service shop that was at A1A and East Oakland but I guess we didn’t use them enough, they’re gone :(
This is something of a drift dive, enter near the pier and get swept south a few blocks, then walk back, there are showers at each street end :)

Thanks for advice. I’ve been there snorkeling a few times. Did visit the deep blue, and you are right not a big shop but should be handy for me since I am planning to rent equipment and do not want to schlep it from far away. I can get by in Spanish and did speak with the owner. His English is sufficient for my needs, also I speak Russian, Ukrainian and Polish. So if someone need a translator please ask. PS Regarding showers- I did noticed them and they are more than handy after the dive to rinse equipment and to wash the salt off :)
There is a bit more than two weeks left, so please let me know if anyone up 2 and willing to do this dive.
