Thursday or Friday are the best days visibility wise at Dutch due to all the weekend divers churning up the mud. How about next Thursday or Friday? I have not been diving this year; bought a weekday only pass.
I live in Hatfield, PA so we could carpool if you’re close.

I dove Dutch yesterday with my dive buddies from the past 2 years. We went towards the deep hole (103ft) and visibility dropped. We got separated and each surface swam back to the dock. In past years, the visibility has been good here. After, we dove in other areas with better vis. My legs were cramping and tired since it was my first diving day this year. Did 3 dives counting the first truncated dive, a second to finish the tank and 1 more. I would like to swim slower but these buddies are very reliable in showing up to dive.

Hi David,
I am planning to go on Friday if you can make it. I haven’t heard a definite from Elmar. I would be interested in seeing how your sidemount works. I have slung a tank a few times, even with only a drysuit for buoyancy. That was foolish, I now know, without a BC. It did work, but I could have used more buoyancy on the surface. We usually park on the peninsula on weekdays with no problem.
