Adding Dive Sites to the Database

I am wondering about adding some dive sites off the coast of South Carolina. I have several friends that I dive with and we can get this area documented pretty good for the site. My question is how do I get the pin point to show up. I tryed to add Bill Perry Jr Reef to South Carolina but it doesn’t get the pin in the water on the map. I have the gps coordinates from the south carolina Dept of Natural resources so I know that they are accurate. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I know this sounds simple...but you should only need to click on the map to place a marker on that point. You can also enter in the coordinates if you know them. Contact me directly if you have other questions or continue to have problems.

I’ve tried adding latitude and longitude but that never seems to work and it goes to the default which seems to be the last resting place for Emilia Earhart.

Sticking the pin is close enough if you really zoom it.

You need to use either decimal form OR include the degress, minutes and second symbols appropriately:

Latitude: 34.5605 OR N34° 33’ 38"
Longitude: -76.8544 OR W76° 51’ 15.99"
