From SCUBASMITTY: QUIZ 2 QUESTION 1 at 99 ft how much MORE pressure, would be THREE. since you have established one atmosphere at the top, and there are three att’s at 99ft, should not the question beHOW MANY att’s would be pressent at 99 ft ?... I agree with SCUBASMITTY. The ambient pressure at 99 feet is four atmospheres, which is four TIMES the pressure at the surface, but only three TIMES MORE THAN the pressure at the surface. A better way to phrase the question would be, "What is the ambient pressure in atmospheres at 99 feet?"
