I just logged them. Never really had any issues with my dives being questioned. I just wrote in the name of my dive buddys - filled out the log completely and called it a day. Afterall a dive is a dive is a dive.....I don’t believe that there is a precertified/post certified designation. Some shops can be a little picky about when a dive is conducted - taking a deep dive before taking the class....but the fact of the matter is you did the dive. Count it!
