Hello Divers; anyone done a liveaboard in the red sea?
Looking for recommendations on where to book and which operator to use.
Any travel tips or what to be careful for would be appreciated as well ( not sure how safe travel to Egypt is these days)

When are you planning on going? I’m looking at March 2020. Maybe a 14 day LiveAboard

I saw your message, I live in the UK and I have been on liveaboards in the Red Sea.
I have done my trips with Blue O Two, the organisation is good and the boats are to a good standard.
They are based in Hurgardha which is considered safe, equipment hire is OK, I like to take my own equipment. Most wrecks or in the northern Red Sea, Southern Red Sea more large fish life sharks, etc.
The quieter time of year is January until May, the dive sites not so busy but the water is cooler then about 20 to 21 degrees C. ( some people use dry suits this time of year) May until November is busiest but can be crowded on the wrecks.
