I saw your message, I live in the UK and I have been on liveaboards in the Red Sea.
I have done my trips with Blue O Two, the organisation is good and the boats are to a good standard.
They are based in Hurgardha which is considered safe, equipment hire is OK, I like to take my own equipment. Most wrecks or in the northern Red Sea, Southern Red Sea more large fish life sharks, etc.
The quieter time of year is January until May, the dive sites not so busy but the water is cooler then about 20 to 21 degrees C. ( some people use dry suits this time of year) May until November is busiest but can be crowded on the wrecks.
