 Getting my foot in the door to Teaching technical diving

Just got my Intro to Tech Instructor certification. I have been mentoring people coming up through the technical ranks for the past few years & thoroughly enjoy doing it. After co- teaching an Intro to Tech course with my tech instructor, I was signed off to be able to teach that level. I even had someone call up wanting to take the course from me in July. What a great way to get in on the ground level & work my way up. My eventual goal is to be able to teach the different levels of cave.

Congrats Tammy. Btw Tammy has been my phone mentor as I live very far away! Sounds stupid but it’s not. Tec diving is all about gear configuration. All about tweaking things and to say the least there is no standard setup for every tec diver. Not even close. She has helped me so much with all of it!
