Hey, if you (orHey, if you (or anyone) is interested, I would like to get out to some state parks, or anywhere else that you don’t have to ’pay to play’. I go to Dutch frequently, but it gets a little old. I would like to find places to just go and hop in. I did a dive in the river last year, off of the York Haven Dam. Not exactly legal, and we couldn’t see squat, but still it was fun. I am not suggesting anything illegal here, only legal access, and you have that at the state parks. Just want to find some OTHER stuff to do. A little more adventure than just going to an underwater adventure park. Find things that no one else has found. Some of the guys at Lancaster Scuba go to the Conestoga river in Lancaster on Wednesdays and dive in only a few feet of water, but they are recovering artifacts and piecing a story together....trying to find who the ’life’ they are piecing together belongs to. Now THAT sounds like adventure to me. That’s the kind of thing I want. Out doing what others are NOT doing. Out actually EXPLORING for a change. I do it kayaking and hiking all the time, would like to do the same UNDER the water.
If anyone is interested or up for it, that would be great. If it’s murky and sucks, we just won’t dive that location again. Never know until you try.
