The lip of the wall rises up 20 to 30 feet and then tumbles over the drop-off, but the quickest way to the deep blue is to spiral down a funnel-like drain in the sand. It pulls you into a dark tunnel that elbows out and you into the deep blue of the trench at 110 feet. The mooring is in a shallow coral mount dominated by juvenile reef fish like blue- and yellowhead wrasse.
