The Anchor in Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands is reputed to be over 100 years old, the Anchor and chain drape out over the coral toward the wall. This is a beautiful dive site in that it starts at 35 feet. The Anchor is the type used by old British war ships, with a shaft that is 8 foot long and the flukes are 6 feet across. The Anchor is now encrusted with coral and sponges and the reef is loaded with life. This is a great site to dive, day or night. Just don’t forget to explore over the wall!
