According to Walter and Richard Krotte’s book Shipwrecks off the New Jersey Coast, the Oklahoma wreck is part of the 5,853 ton tanker that broke in two and sank in January of 1914. The wreck is located in 70 feet of water 7 miles off Seaside Heights.
