The two main towns on St. Croix are Christiansted and Frederiksted, but perhaps the most fun one is StingRaysted. It’s just outside (to the east) of Christiansted Harbor and sits on a sandy bottom along the top of Green Cay Slope, a gently sloping wall that runs from the harbor’s entrance channel east to Buck Island. Sting Rays (obviously from the name) are common here as they like to (attempt to) hide themselves in the sand along the top of the wall.
