Lannon Quarry - WI

Loading...
Lannon Quarry is a former stone quarry that now serves as a 16-acre (6.5-hectare) lake considered a good dive site for beginners. It offers a series of flat ledges and walls to explore. No boats are allowed on the lake, but divers should be careful of fishing line. The lake is part of Menomonee Park, which is in the villages of Menomonee Falls and Lannon and totals 394 acres (158 hectares) of rolling fields, maple woods, cattail marsh and wetlands. Divers must have a permit for their vehicle and a permit for scuba diving for the Waukesha County Park System. Divers can register at the entrance to the park when there is an attendant on duty. After entering the park, divers should drive their vehicles to the designated diving area on the west side of the quarry.
