Versluis Lake is located and available for scuba-diving at Moby’s Dive Shop.
This ex-gravel pit has become a beautiful little lake with generally good visibility (dependent upon season and weather), plenty of fish and vegetation, underwater platforms, a navigation course (tough), little shipwrecks and structures to dive on and an easy access to the water. Visiblity can be from 25-40 foot from November through May; 20-30 foot June through early July; and at it’s worst 10 - 15 foot + generally in mid July through mid September.
No power boats permitted only trolling motors on pontoon boats (and only a few at that).
Moby’s Dive Shop offers rentals, Specialty classes and dives and fitted equipment for sale.
Our website is www.mobysdive.com and "like us" on facebook to see many pictures and videos of the lake.
