Rivtow Lion (formerly HMRT Prudent and later HMRT Cautious)
This former deep sea rescue tug was launched in 1940 and served with the Royal Navy in WWII out of the Shetland Islands and Iceland accompanying convoys of men, food and equipment across the North Atlantic. After being retired from the Navy she was purchased and brought to British Columbia to work as and ocean going tug for many years. Sunk as Nanaimo’s third artificial reef on February 6, 2005 and is considered a perfect novice dive
