Goat Island is a marine reserve established 1975 and covers an area of approx. 5 square kilometres.

Of interest is that you can hand feed many fish in less than 30cm of water, and hand feed Schnapper the size of a large man’s arm.
Goat Island Marine reserve is a "No Take" reserve.
