Abu Dabbab - Egypt

Loading...

A large bay, with seagrass. Easy diving with a nice reef on the north and south.

There is a group of resident turtles (some quite big), and the famous dugong (related to the manatee). Also, you will find guitar rays and sometimes large stingrays.

Unfortunately, this divesite is so nice - and it is the best beach in the area - that is simply too crowded. In any other country this kind of unique habitat would be protected and the number of visitors would be limited. Not in Egypt.
