The Miss Opportunity was a 390 foot WW II Navy Hospital Barge before being used as office space at Charlotte Amalie, at St Thomas. After is sank, the government contracted it to be filled with trash and towed out 5 miles into the ocean. Fortunately for us divers, the contractor was lazy and decided they could get away with a half mile. When the fraud was discovered, someone went to jail and most of the trash was cleaned up, leaving this amazing wreck dive with large openings. The barge lays 3/4 over with all the windows facing the sun, so lighting is not required (yet still useful) inside.
