Winch Hole is located off of Key Largo within the Molasses Reef chain. The site is the location where a 17th or 18th century Spanish Ship ran aground on the reef. The Spanish ship was attempting to pull itself off of the reef with its winch when the large winch was ripped from its deck and now rests in 27fsw. The reef has started to cover the winch but the structure can still be made out. Lots of fish , large fish! N 25° 00.579’W 080° 22.471’
