The Turks and Caicos Islands are not known for their wreck diving. In fact, there are no wrecks on Providenciales that are regularly visited by tourists to the island. The only two diveable wrecks are not marked and none of the dive operators visit them with guests. But we have been on these wrecks. The Southwind is now only a debris field in 60-80 feet of water leading the way to the edge of the wall. The W.E., however, remains intact on the slope of the wall with the top of the bow at 90 feet and its propeller at 165 feet. You can see a video of a dive on these wrecks at www.ScubaVisions.TV (www.tinyurl.com/p6e6uj).
