In the summer there’s a lot of the "drinking" crowd here being rowdy and jumping (illegally) off the bridge. But when conditions are anything but warm and sunny, this is actually a nice place to dive. Parking is found on either side of the bridge, and then a short walk down a moderate slope brings you to the edge of the river.
To the west of the bridge, the bottom goes from about 20 ft to less than 3 if you go far enough. Under the bridge and to the east, the river flows through rock faces that bottom at around 25ft. Salmon and trout are not an uncommon sight in the water here.
