There are 4 wood hull boats sunk off the beach. 3 in a line, 1 half buried on the shore and another half buried boat about 100 yards away. The access to the beach is about a half a mile east of the site. I use a sit-on-top kayak to get there and dive but most people will have to walk. Visibility is good with lots of marine life.

From Aqua Explorers: DIRECTIONS: (Reeves Park, Suffolk County)
NOTE: A four -wheel-drive vehicle plus a beach permit will be necessary to get to these wrecks.
Take the Long Island Expressway into Riverhead - Exit 73 East. Take Old Country Road east and make a left at the traffic circle onto Roanoke Avenue. Take Roanoke Avenue to Sound Avenue, and make a left. Turn right on Park Road and take it to the end. The barges are about .6 miles down the beach to the west.
