Fallen Rock was described by Scuba Diving magazine as "one of the area’s most sought after dive sites." The site is characterized by its "fallen rock," a bus-shaped, coral-encrusted boulder that broke out of the neighboring wall and became an upright pinnacle surrounded by sharp drop-offs. The top of the local reef is at 65 feet, and the bottom around the site is below 100 feet. Fallen Rock is considered a dive demanding advanced recreational diving skills. The dive site is 12 minutes from Playa Santa by boat, and populated by reef-based sea life as well as open ocean fish, like barracuda, jacks, mackerels, jacks and eagle rays.
