Amazing diving. Tannin-rich run off from the steep cliffs surrounding the sound (and LOTS of rain) create a ~4m layer of dark freshwater floating on clear seawater. Get below the freshwater, and deep sea creatures, fooled by the darkness, come up shallower than normal.


And the surface scenery is unbelievable.
