Reporting Spam on DiveBuddy.comI have several restrictions put in place to help minimize the amount of spam received through DiveBuddy’s message system...but that doesn’t protect us all of the time. If you happen to receive a message through DiveBuddy that appears to be spam, visit the offending member’s profile and click the Report link (only visible if you’re logged into DiveBuddy). See the image in this blog for an example of where the Report link is located.

By reporting a member, you have essentially cast your vote to have that member removed. Once a few reports are received from different members, the offending member is suspended without intervention from a DiveBuddy admin.

If you have questions or concerns about spammers on DiveBuddy, please contact me. It rarely happens, but when it does, it’s a nuisance...so lets all be sure to report spammers right away.

Thank you!
