I think this ship will be the catalysis I will need to become a dry suit diver or at least get a heavy wet suit. I have written about this class of ship before. One of them is at Subic Bay yogn_pr_jun18_rev4 The post British Columbia New Reef YOGN-82 appeared first on The Scuba Diving Nomad....
HORSE COLLAR BC HORSE COLLAR BC
divershaun - 2/21/2010 1:34 PM
I am looking for a horse collar bc and I can’t find one anywhere. I know you can buy new ones from stores or online, but I dont feel like paying 200+ dollars for a brand new one when I KNOW people have old ones they are willing to sell. However, every time i ask about horse collars I get "ohh I just sold it" or "I gave it away" and it is frusterating. I have checked craigslist and ebay and havent found anything. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, hints, or tips. It wold be greatly ap...
New BC and Wreck Alley New BC and Wreck Alley
ScubaHawk - 11/13/2008 8:42 PM
I got to dive the Yukon at San Diego’s Wreck Alley again. It has been three years since I dived the Yukon and it has really changed. As you have noticed, I am not into the little critters and plants as I don’t know how to spell them. We also dived the Ruby E and the rocks of Green Tank, Point Loma kelp beds. Our divers saw lots of garibaldi, lobsters, a...

This is a really cool article from my neck of the woods. "NORTH PORT - Scientists have a good idea what Florida was like 12,000 years ago: It was hot and dry and twice as wide as it is now because the oceans were 400 feet lower than they are now. That would put the Gulf coast of Florida about 100 miles west of the current shoreline. Turtles the size of beanbag chairs roamed the land, along with giant sloths, mastodons and saber-toothed tigers. Humans? Yes, scientists say. Nomadic peoples roamed,...
