Well lets just say that my diving life got started off on the wrong foot! I got my certification with an old boyfriend and we really dont keep in touch. So not only did our relationship end but our diving ties were broken also. I lost my only diving buddy! LOL. I am trying to persuade my husband to take up the diving life and he is still a little reluctant. He would rather be skiiing in the snowy mountains than under tropical water in an array of beautiful motions and colors. This has stunted my diving for a while and honestly I have not had the opportunity to dive since my certification dive 3 years ago. I also work as a travel agent so the opportunities are endless really. I have a certification as a Cayman Islands Dive Specialist which I am very proud of. It is nice to mix work with something you love to do....and well...diving and travel are passions of mine (even though I admit that I have a fear of drowning and plane crashes! How ironic).
Plans to dive are coming around the corner fast and I do hope it all works out. I am looking for a diving buddy and hopefully will find one before January! January 11-18 we will be setting sail to Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, & Cozumel aboard the lovely and fun Carnival Conquest.
