Hello, I am new to scuba diving completed my open water certification on the 19th of July @ Lake Rawlings had an awesome time. I should have gotten my certification a lot sooner!
Looking to purchase my own gear soon, any recommendation’s are greatly appreciated.

I have bought most of my equipment at Dive Connections in Charlottesville. Also have done their trips on Black-beards Cruise (live-aboard). Chip is the owner, everyone there is helpful. Research the best dive equipment for your needs. I went with Aqualung. Hope that helps. Diving is my favorite past time. I have found that you can get the most bang for your buck with the live-aboards such as Blackbeard’s. I do a trip and get 16-18 dives in for the week.
