I, Chris, have an advanced open water certification and have logged about 50 dives. Megan, my wife, is certified but much less experienced but is interested in doing some real diving. We have made several trips to the Parker wreck (AR 315) in a smaller boat, but now that we’ve upgraded I’d like to go further offshore to sites such as the Indra, Suloide, and Hutton. If we find people to share the experience and expense with, maybe we’ll venture even farther offshore.

We own a 22’ Twin Vee Hawaiian power catamaran with twin engines, so it is very safe, stable, and capable of going offshore and getting back safely (the whole reason we bought it). It also has a fin ladder for easy entry.

Unfortunately the weather here in Morehead City is rarely ideal for diving. With Megan’s limited experience we will only go if it is nice out!
