I do not know anyone to dive with in the seattle area, and would really like to splash again. I have always liked trying to find the huge octopus at the wreck in Alki. I don’t care who wants to dive with me, my one and only concern is to be a safe and courteous diver. I am very experienced with hyperbaric medicine and dive related illnesses and injuries for I am a commercial diver.

I’m back to diving - been on a couple to make sure I’m OK so ...
If you still interested in a dive buddy and wouldn’t mind me carrying a camera - I’m in. Let me know.

Thanks
Johanna

I dive Nitrox almost exclusively and you?

Broke my jaw
Had to have two bone grafts - So I am out of commission for another 5 to 6 weeks.

We can keep in contact and as we get closer - we can do a dive at Cove 2 . This is an easy place to meet one another. You can then decide how you would like to proceed.

Once I am back in the water - I will be looking for opportunities current/exchange wise to do some diving off of the following sites:
Whidbey Island
Redondo
Port Townsend
Fidalgo Island
Day Island
Bainbridge
Edmonds
Olympic Peninsula
Hood Canal

I usually do about 100 - 150 dives a year (recreational).

My doc says about 3 - 7 weeks before I can go diving. I’m not sure if I answered all of your questions.

I have
Diving cove 2 has it challenges
Usually too many divers and they all tend to stir up the muck. But night diving there doesn’t get the pressure that the day time does. During the day they have classes so lots of nubies in the water and of course they are all walkign on the bottom much like we did when we were first learning.

I’ve done a dive at cove two in the past that had the floor covered with the little red octos. They looked like figurines off of someones shelf. In the spring the large ones were pretty much everywhere as well. This has been a great year for Octopus at cove 2 as with anywhere else in the sound.

I live North East of Everett.
I dive all over the Sound - just depends on the day, currents and the weather.
My favorites are Bainbridge, Whidbey, Port Townsend and Skyline.
I live to take pictures so I try to go to sites with a lot of color and marine life.

I would love to in a couple of weeks. I just had surgery so am out of the water for at least three more weeks but after I get my release - can do.

Where do you like to go and where about are you located?
