Looking to meet some divers in Corpus area. I like to go offshore but haven’t found enough dependable buddies. I’ve lost track of how many times people have bailed from a trip at the last minute sending me scrambling. Dive operators are expensive here, and taking a personal boat isn’t much cheaper, requiring the remaining divers to cover the difference. With so few days of calm weather in the Western Gulf, a busted trip could mean weeks before another opportunity comes up.


I’m not on here for an Internet Popularity Contest, to see how many buddies I can get in my profile. Please don’t be offended if I don’t approve your Buddy Request. I’m looking for divers that have a honest, realistic interest in meeting for diving in this area or putting a group together for travel to a dive destination. There’s a lot of very interesting and great people on here but I’m sure you’ll understand.

I enjoyed it very much. I am in the Army and headed to Afghanistan, so I really like military history.

I am in Corpus Christi right now (I leave today). I came down on Saturday to see the USS Lexington. I thought about diving but there were a lot of other things that I wanted to see here.
