Hi all, I am diving since 1994. Started with CMAS but soon switched to PADI which better suits me. Did most dives on Maldives and Red Sea. Do not like lakes or rivers, the ocean is what i prefer. Staying for a week on a dive boat cruise down the coasts in South Red Sea is one of my favorites. Been to Thailand, Sri Lanka and the Philippines for diving too.
I was going for instructor but thats the professional side which i didn´t wanted to go all the way so i stopped at assistant instructor. My Divemaster was done on Maledives. I worked there for a week and it was enough to show me the differnce between doing it for fun or for money. Maldives is a divers dream, underwater and on the surface. I really love the indian ocean.

I try to go once or twice a year on a dive trip.
Now i am waiting for xtreme46 to finally get enough dives(50 logged dives are mandatory) to go with me on a boat cruise down to southern Red Sea. Staying on a boat 24/7 is what its all about. Egypt is quite cheap divingwise and just a 5 hour flight from Germany. You guys really need to check it out;-).
