Bill is a retired advanced level Scuba Instructor, and was awarded the highest certification in the SCUBA industry earning the rating of Instructor Examiner. As a Regional Training Director he was responsible for overseeing instructor development for the World Association of SCUBA Instructors and the National Academy of Scuba Educators. He also taught for Scuba Schools International as a Gold Instructor and ANDI as a SafeAir Nitrox Instructor and Oxygen Provider Instructor. He was a certified Equipment Service Technician and Certified Gas Blender. He owned a scuba instruction, scuba travel, equipment sales and rental business. He has been diving since 1966 and has traveled to Galapagos, Australia, Micronesia, Mexico, Honduras, Cayman, Bonaire, Saba, St. Lucia, Antigua, Turks and Caicos, Jamaica and many U.S.destinations
