My first dive mask was a home built widget from a coffee can and bicycle tubing. Now I easily do 100 - 150 tanks a year, with a DSLR in my hand. 2/3rds of my yearly dives are on the Northern Channel Islands of California; the remainder are in warm water somewhere. My wife (see our webpage) is my favorite dive buddy - we go in the water together and sometimes even comeout together.
If you are in San Diego, we can dive wreck alley - fun, close and not expensive.
