Cool. With it being 10 1/2 hours, I guess you have to plan it pretty well in adavnce.. We should be able to try and hook with y’all when you make the trip with that kind of notice.. Have a great one!!!

Ginnie is nice!! I haven’t ventured over to the Devil’s side because I normally take my newly certified buddies to Ginnie for their first trip after O/W, so we stay in the main spring. But, if you’re cave certified, you’ll be bored in the main.. You’ll like the Devils’ side much better. If you aren’t cave, the cavern at the main spring is a very cool one. 54 foot depth and about 70 feet back.. And you heard of Gin Clear water.. Ginnie is that, all day, every day!!! If you ever decide to make the trip, drop me a line. It’s only 4-4 1/2 hours from here..

What ever works for you. If you talk to the DIR people only the 7’ is right. But according to people I learned from what ever is right for you. Best of luck. I’m on my way to Bonaire Sat for the Handi Capped instructor course. I’m going to try m new digital camara and the video on it. Talk to you later.

Yes. Your Boss was telling us all about it. I would love to but my calander is VERY full. I need a weekend off but that will not happen very soon.

I usually dive with my Mares Abyss 22 (I have 3 of those). I’ve changed some hose, etc. I also have a Voltrex with MR-12 first stage and a O2 clear Rebel w/MR-12 for deco. I have a few Octo rebel that I use when I dive with my family (we’re 5 divers in the family).

I like the way the Abyss second stage regulator breathe. I have tried many different high-end regulators and they are pretty much the same (may be i’m not too picky...). I’m in the market for a couple more regs (for my tech and cave diving). I have not decided which one. I’ve tried Poseidon and Dive-Rite. They both breathe well but are a little pricey...

How about you?

Cheers,

I am Tri Mix, and Cave. I have not done a trimix dive in a LONG time with less then ten.

Cave I have over 120 but again not in a few years. I am going to go down with a few buddies from KY this winter. I really miss it.

That’s cool, you don’t need to trip over the extra hose. I always use a 7 ft hose on my singles and then on my doubles. Love it.

Thank you.. Actually, I don’t do a lot of spearfishing. That was taken last year during the one and only time I’ve ever been. I had just gotten the dragon hood delivered and they wanted a picture with the hood on. I had a good time that day, but I decided that I would rather shoot pictures of the fish than actually shoot them. :)

Thanks for the add! I hope you had as much fun on Oriskany as I did.
