You can search for one of our numerous dive shops. I use Mac’s Sports for most of my diving resources. http://macssports.com 727-442-9931. We have lots of dive destinations in the Tampa / Clearwater / St. Pete area. Anything from dive charters / sink holes / fresh water springs. Mac’s should be able to point you in the right direction.

when I’m in that area I use Scuba Quest they have some nice dives out in the Gulf going out of Cortez and also they do some beach dives in Venice.

thanks for the reply,its all new to me,only about 20 or so dives,i havnt been deep yet,just a lot of quarrys and lakes around here,nothing to big,so im really looking foward to some ocean diving,thaks for your help

I was in Venice FL diving for meg teeth in Feb. it’s about an hour south of St Pete. I dove with Florida West Scuba it was alot of fun the equipment and service was 5 star padi.

yes st pete is only an hour from my home and the best diving is off shore(20mile plus) there are a few charters that will get you there and there’s dive boats that operate locally. I haven’t dove off any of them but august should be far enough notice. I’ll be glad to look up some local information also let me know dates and if weather permits I can accommodate two to four divers if I gat my brothers boat in on it we can do as many as 7,8. or head south to venice beach shore diving is rather poplar that is a hour south of st pete
