I’m in Lake Chrales and Houston area is the closest diving from here. I don’t have a boat though. I work offshore but it looks likely that I will still be on land this weekend if you want to dive. I was thinking of trying Mammoth lake. Rig diving would be great but I looked it up a few days ago and a day trip was kinda expensive.

Its very expensive, the cheapest outfit I have found is $175 for 2 dives in the Houston area. After tips that comes out to almost $200 for the day. That’s why I’m trying to find a boat owner that dives, we can pay him something cheaper, hell I can settle for $100-125 a day. Next two weekends I’m not available for diving, but the weekend of Nov 8th I should be. stay in touch

I should be offshore or back in Washington for most of November but I might get a weekend in there somewhere that I can dive.

I love diving the rigs, but I am definitely a warm water diver. Check back with me in the spring, and I’ll be happy to head out to the rigs with you.

Myself and a couple of buddies are avid rig divers. We do a fair amount of spearfishing off of them. The best part is one of them own a boat and we are on the occation looking for a couple of extra divers to help out with gas. We come out of conroe and usually lauch in freeport. So let me know if your interested.
