Anyone have any experience with the Force Fins? Everything I read says "yes" but I would sure like to hear from anyone who has been using them before I plunk down several hundred dollars.....

I haven’t used them myself, but I have 3 dive buddies who do, and they LOVE them and wouldn’t dive with anything else. They offered to let me try them, but I was so into my own fins at the time I declined. Sorry I can’t give you better info.

If it helps I have three diffferent pairs of force fins. I Have the pros, extra force and the excellerating force. The pros and the excellerating force has the bungees which is like the spring straps that you know of. The extra and the excellerating force has the whiskers. Long story short, I was in Okinawa for my ow dive training but didn’t get certified because my instructor lost the paper work to PADI. I had the whole gear set up and using twin jets. My military buddies just made sure that they passed me the tanks. So no log dives, there. In short, I had the the splits and they were ok and can’t really fight the choppy currents of Okinawa too well. I have the APS mantaray now and certified through SSI in las vegas. Those fins are my best bang of the buck. My favorite fin is my extra force with whiskers and my favorite all around fin is the force fin PRO. The Pros are definitely worth the money.

Love’em! See if you have a local dive shop that sells them. I am sure they would have a pari for you to try out. Your leg muscles will thank you!
