 Greece Boat Dive Advice

Hey everybody. I’m in the planning stages of a trip to the Aegean Sea area. Looking for advice on good boat trips.

Greece and Croatia are definitely on the list, might get into Italy, Crete, or Malta. Sadly this isn’t a pure dive trip since the Misus is a non-diver so I’ll only get one maybe 2 days to dive if I’m lucky and want to make it count. By the time I go I’ll be a PADI MSD so I’ll be open to most recreational diving. Any recommendations are welcome.

Not exactly in Greece where you’ll be but when I dove Corfu with CorfuScubanauts they dropped the wives off at a bar/grill while we did the first dive, we joined them for lunch during the surface interval and then picked them up after the second dive.

The biggest surprise was that they were wearing more thermal protection than I brought for the deeper dives, I did it in a 3 mil but was chilled. Like a NJ dive but with better viz and much older junk on the bottom.

Be sure to dive in Protected Areas or you won’t see any fish. Commercial + locals fish everything out.

Besides beautiful beaches Greece holds natural treasures hiding in the Aegean sea and you can only discover them through scuba diving.
