I don’t remember any dive shops in that area, it’s either up to Marathon or down to Key West.

I can recommend one not to use, Looe Reef Resort, they burned me twice, always charged more than advertised, says air included but not if it’s your tanks, charged me for nitrox but left the tanks empty and the dive Nazi makes you stand in line and searches your dive gear to make sure you are not stealing from them. Boat crew is more interested in selling chicken dogs than helping you and only goes to one dive site 6 days a week. Snorkelers will hang on the boat to watch the fish underneath so you can’t get back to the ladder.

I usually only go down there to board the Spree, they go to the Tortugas or wrecks but I’m guessing you already have a place to stay.

BTW, my favorite place to eat down there is an open air pavilion on Stock Island buried back north of the docks on the east side of a1a among the fish traps. hogfishbar.com/

There are a couple dive shops 6 miles up the road in Big Pine key.

I would try Underseas Inc. I dove with them a long time ago and get my tanks filled there nice people.

Strike Zone Charters also in Big Pine. (I think they bought out one of the other shops called Innerspace.)

Looe Key Reef Resort in Ramrod Key

Into the Blue Spearfishing Charters on Little Torch Key

Most of these shops go to Looe key except for Into the Blue Charters. You could ask? The Adolphous wreck is not far from there.

You have probably gone and are back already. Maybe this will help other people. I spend the Winters in Cudjoe key. Haven’t used any of these charters though except for Underseas and that was many years ago.
