When i was in Isla 3 years ago i used, Squalo Adventures PADI Dive Resort #22312, owner is Andres. Good crew and good bunch of people. Seemed like some of the others on the boat had used them before. I stayed at Privilege Aluxes and it was about a 5 minute walk to the shop. Hope this helps

thanks! They’re the ones I did choose after some research on prices and boats. Andres was responsive by email, too. Sounds like most of the dive sites are all shallow, though. What did you think of you’re diving there?

The diving there isnt that great, the sites are identical to where they bring you if you dive in Cancun almost. I dove the underwater statue museum, shallow dive not worth going out of the way to do. I guess kinda cool if u never saw anything like it before. Most statues are covered in green moss now. The german U-boat was a good wreck at about 80’,well worth doing. i can check on the other sites, think punta sar or something like that was one. Andreas is good he knows all the sites, ask him what he recomends and look into them. You can look on tripadvisor.com and look under activities or things to do in isla mujeres. Whale shark dive is great from what i heard but i dnt know if its in season. Ill look uo what other sites i dove there and get back to you.
