Thanks for your reply. Perhaps there will be another time and place. I notice that you are near Huntsville, Tx. We do most of our trips to Grand Cayman, which is good for both snorkeling and scuba. But of course Maui is too!

Thanks for your reply and interest in shore diving. I would like to arrange a time or times. Don’t know the next step. This is my first attempt at using DiveBuddy. We are staying in the Lahaina area, perhaps close to your B&B. I could contact you through that. I have snorkeled on Maui on two vacations and on Kona and Kawai on other trips. Most of my diving has been in the Carribean on boat dives in Nassau, Gran Cayman, and St. Martin. Sidemount is a style of diving where two tanks are attached, one on each side, using in the minimalist form with a harness and bladder rather than a BCD. It was developed by cave divers.
