 Anybody been to Bahamas>Andros (not far from Nassau)>Small Hope Bay Lodge?

Has anyone been to this location and/or resort? Seems like it is not on the beaten path or in many publications but tripadvisor sure talks it up as a resort. Not much current info. on the undercurrent.org internet site either. How is the diving and resort here? We are looking to get a tirp in before xmas. and undable to do the Saturday to Saturday flights that many of the carribean locaitons seem to need and this location crossed our radar.

Any info. would be appreciated. Thanks.

I stayed at the Small Hope Bay Lodge many years ago, and found the operation to be wonderful !!!

The most exciting, but by no means the only great dive was the Nitro Express "Over the Wall" into the Tongue of the Ocean. Went to 185 ft. on air !!! Every diver had their own divemaster for safety, and they issued a certificate for my "EXTREME CAUTION AND BRAVADO"

The staff were great also .... be sure to take the tour of the batik factory ;-)
