If you’re interested in finding buddies, another thing to do is to send
direct messages to members around you or where you’ll be diving. (use
member search page)

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately I work in E. Hartford and don’t get back to the shore until late in the evening.

Through some research I found out that Stonington point is no longer a good dive site. From what was said it appears that it is now really shallow with little to no visibility. Since I heard that i decided not to go diving there yesterday. Im going to look into doing a day trip to Rhode Island for a 2 tank Shore dive. Just wanted to let people know what I heard. Maybe others who have recently dived there can offer some new information as to wether Stonington is in fact a good place to try or confirm that it will be a dissappointing dive location.

I live in CT so rhode Island is a short drive away. The other possible location for next wed dive is Cape Ann. A bit further of a drive but I do like the diving there. I went to back beach anf Front beach last year and had a great time.. Does anyone have and thoughts about Rode island shore dives?

Am looking to do some diving this summer in the brownstone quarry area. There are a lot of submerged vehicles to check out. Let me know if you want to try it in the afternoon after work etc. i live in greenfield, but sometimes work in holyoke (just north of springfield). Convenient diving, just need dive buddies.
