Ahoy there fellow divers,
Has anyone out there purchased the new Atomic Cobalt computer or know of someone that has? Im interested in how does it actually work and any feedback on the actual usage of it. 1200 dollars is a good chunk of greenbacks to put on something without seeing what actual owners say about it. Thanks

Hey, I huave the oceanic pro 2.1, but a dive buddy I went out with this last weekend that has the atomic computer. From what I saw, it looked pretty sweet. I would love to throw some cash down for it... but not what they want (1200).

Hey there,

I could not resist getting the Cobalt. What a sweet unit. I have about 6 dives on it now and the performance is great. So easy to set up even a caveman could do it. And the OLED face is a sight to behold. Downloading of your entire dive profile is a snap. Every time I go out with it I get attention from other divers. I believe this thing is the state of the art, and rumor has it that Atomic may be getting set to launch a wrist version. But I am very happy with the console, hey you need to carry a regulator and hoses anyway.

I give it a thumbs up............................

As a dealer, you know I am going to give it rave reviews but if you like, I can put you in touch with some of my customers that purchased the Cobalt. They can tell you first hand how much they LOVE it and the individual dive experiences they have had with it! Let me know if I can help you...

Thanks for the reply. How does it do in low light conditions and is the battery life good.

During night dives you can almost use the cobalt as your flashlight ;-) Inside overhead environments with 0 light, the cobalt cuts through the dark! Amazing in low light!!!

Battery life is very good. One of my guys dove 7 days x2 diver per day (1:15-1:30 bottom time per dive) without recharging! Another one of my AI’s dove 4 days in FL 2+ dives per day with all bottom times over 1 hour and he told me there was still 40% .
