Hello.. I know this has bin done before but a recent post on another site has made me post again..I am a certified Solo diver. I took the course to add to the rescue course and all the first aide and other courses to simply be the best prepaired diver I can be. I do solo dive but not all the time and find it very peaceful and calming.... Now with saying that..What are your feeling of Solo diving and why???

Why would you care what anybody thinks about what you do? You enjoy solo diving, it’s peaceful & calming, keep enjoying diving solo. Lots of people have strong opinions on solo diving, what does it really matter? Keep doing what you doing and enjoy your life. Enjoy the ride….. J

(daz88)..... Its not that I care as much as I am interested in peoples opinions and thoughts on the subject. I dont have agree with them. I have heard it all from local divers. I just like to listen to and view other opinions.

I never seem to get tired of reading about the subject of solo diving! Just last week at my dive shop we had a great conversation / argument about solo diving vs buddy diving. I too would enjoy reading more opinions on this subject. I love and do solo dive myself, but I can’t seem to recommend or encourage solo diving. I even prefer to solo dive because it seems I have no one to look out for but myself. But then is that being a bit selfish? I mean if everyone felt that way, who would have taught me to dive? Again I would love to read other opinions and thoughts on solo diving.

I have no problem with diving solo, training and experience play a important role a long with honesty to oneself.
