Some friends and I dove Bonne Terre in Feb/08. One thing specific thing I wanted to add is that I think you should rent weights as well as tanks. The previous diver reponded with great info on the dive site. We all thought it was very cool, although expensive. It is a very long walk back up to the surface while carrying all your gear. If you rent weights { as well as tanks} you just leave them at the jump in spot at the waters edge. I thought the staff was generally very good. Some seemed a little over the top strict on some logistical issues. I understand being strict on safety issues { showing mask clearing skills on the first dive, ect} but one guy was very angry that we chose to get in the water at a small dock/ramp rather than do a giant stride from the edge. Just seemed a little over the top to me. I would go back to Bonne Terre any time, esp. in the winter.
